Child & Youth Support Worker
Walk with children and young people through land-based learning, after-school programming and the steady routines that help them grow up feeling safe and connected.
What you'll do
- Plan and run after-school, land-based and cultural activities for children and youth
- Provide one-to-one mentorship, homework support and help through hard days
- Work with families, schools and child welfare to keep supports joined up
- Recognize and respond to signs of distress, and document concerns accurately
What you bring
- Diploma in child and youth care, social work, education or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Indigenous children, youth and families
- Current First Aid/CPR, or willingness to train
- Valid driver's licence
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
